The Keystone Hotel (circa 1912)

Once there were two hotels in Historic Fernandina; one replacing the other. The Keystone Hotel replaced the egmont Hotel on the corner of 8th street and Centre street. When it was "razed" in 1972 the historic district was created in a protext to the disappearance of our precious architectural heritage.
